DA Region V Conducts Initial Soil Inspection at C and C Agro Farm

May 8, 2025 – Buhi, Camarines Sur

C and C Agro Farm proudly welcomed representatives from the Department of Agriculture Region V for an initial site inspection and soil analysis, led by Ms. Ailene Canoy Babelonia, Agriculturist II from the Soil Laboratory Division.

The visit marks a crucial milestone in our farm development plans, as the analysis will provide valuable data to guide sustainable land preparation and crop planning, especially for our focus on coconut and abaca production.

We are also grateful for the full support and presence of the Barangay Council of Divino Rostro, headed by Barangay Captain Jeson Mallanes, whose assistance ensured a smooth and successful visit.

During the inspection, Ms. Babelonia and her team systematically collected soil samples across our planned cultivation areas. These samples will undergo laboratory testing to determine soil health, fertility levels, and suitability for our target crops.

“This partnership with the Department of Agriculture is vital as we move forward with our vision of building a productive, sustainable farm that contributes to local agricultural growth,” said Jonathan Clave, farm representative.

For any developments or coordination regarding the inspection and its results, please contact Ms. Rosario Clave at 0953-821-1226.

C and C Agro Farm remains committed to responsible, science-based farming and will continue working with key government agencies and the local community to ensure long-term success.

Farm Update: RB Geodetics Completes Ground Survey for C and C Agro

📍 Barangay Divino Rostro, Buhi, Camarines Sur
🗓️ May 17–18, 2025

We are pleased to share a significant milestone in the development of C and C Agro. On May 17–18, 2025, a full-scale land survey was conducted by RB Geodetics Surveying and Mapping Services, led by Licensed Geodetic Engineer Rex Obia Bustamante and his dedicated team.

The survey covered the entire 12-hectare farm area, marking a key step in our transformation into a model for sustainable and integrated agriculture in the Bicol Region.

This crucial activity allowed us to:
• Precisely define the farm’s legal boundaries
• Establish an accurate geographic reference for future planning
• Collect essential topographic data to guide zoning, irrigation, and infrastructure layout

We coordinated this initiative closely with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and PhilFIDA, aligning our land use strategy with national guidelines for coconut and abaca production.

What’s Next?

With the boundary map and land data in place, our team will now move forward with:
• Developing the official farm layout
• Planning road access, planting zones, and drainage systems
• Aligning our goals with PCA and PhilFIDA programs to boost productivity and farmer income

We are excited about what’s ahead and committed to sharing every step of our progress with you.
